The day will begin around 8:30am for registration, a team safety briefing and, most importantly, a bacon butty breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. After practice laps and qualification, the race will begin at 10.30am and the chequered flag will be waved at 4.30pm, before the winning team is announced at the awards ceremony (and yes there will be trophies and champagne).
Each team can have up to 8 members, and drivers will rotate throughout the 6 hour endurance race. At 1382m long, the PFI Racetrack is the largest outdoor karting circuit in the UK and the only one to have an International ‘A’ grade track licence. The Sodi GT5 karts with 390cc engines can reach a staggering 60mph, so it’s sure to be a thrilling race!
A buffet lunch will be served in the restaurant, and everyone will be provided with a refreshment and snack during the race.
